JIM LEHRMAN has over 30 years experience helping people incorporate the benefits of self discovery into their efforts towards self improvement through his role as a therapist, teacher, trainer, consultant, and director of such organizations as Omega Institute in New York and Interface Foundation in Boston. His approach nurtures your ability to live in your experience and to live effectively.

Therapists and other professionals across the country and as far away as Hong Kong have used Jim Lehrman as a resource in response to both personal and professional issues. He mentors, supervises and trains therapists, and offers counseling, consultations, and long term mentoring to anyone capable of applying themselves seriously to personal development. Jim takes a present-centered approach, wherein the focus is more on how you organize your experience in the moment than on personal history that you might use to explain your experience.

Jim Lehrman is the creator of Making the Moment Matter®. Through this approach, he teaches life skills which are pivotal to freedom from one's psychology. Jim had practiced present-centered psychotherapy since 1976, and prior to that was immersed in the milieu approach of R.D. Laing, as Resident Director of Eikos Therapeutic Community in Boston. He has been involved in training and supervising therapists on both coasts through much of his career, with time off to direct Omega Institute in New York and Interface Foundation in Boston. Initially trained at Harvard in Jungian Psychology, he has mentored under and studied extensively with such spearheads of the Present Centered Psychology movement as Ron Kurtz, the creator of Hakomi Psychotherapy, David Reynolds, the single person responsible for bringing Morita Psychology to the West, and Stephen Wolinsky, the creator of Quantum Psychotherapy. Jim's background is comprehensive, in the fullest meaning of the word.

"Throughout my life, I have jumped off cliff after cliff, only to land on higher ground each time."
